Which scrum certification CSM or PSM is the best fit for you?

I did my PSM a long back and started with it because I was as confused as you all. After many years of PSM, I thought to formalize my learnings on Scrum and upgraded certifications with Scrum Alliance. Now I am a Certified Scrum Professional®-Scrum Master(the highest in Scrum Track). Now I am targeting PSM-II and PSM-III. You might be thinking why I chose Scrum Alliance and the only reason was curiosity, nothing else, and testing the learning. I scored 100% in my CSM recently while in PSM it was close to my passing percentage that too 3–4 years ago.

Here is the difference between these two certifications in my opinion. Both are equally accepted and recognized across the world due to their generalized conceptual model around Scrum Guide.

I am happy to guide you if you are still having doubts. If you are looking for CSM Training, I can recommend Daily Agile without any doubt as I have been in multiple interactions with Kiran and heard from his students. If you are looking for PSM training, do get in touch with me and I will try to find the best trainers in my connection and loop you in. In my free time, I offer Scaled Agile Certification Courses ranging from Leading SAFe, SAFe PO(Product Owner)/PM(Product Manager), SAFe Lean Portfolio Management etc.
